Raphael glanced worriedly at his older brother Leonardo for maybe the 10th time this evening, the 4 brothers were out on patrol when they were ambushed by a bunch of Krang. The 4 turtles fought the aliens with ease, Raphael savouring every moment he loved to beat up their villains it was fun, sometimes annoying and hard but also fun as they continued to fight they were oblivious to the Krang bringing out a blaster from their van and aiming at them. The aliens aimed at Rapheal and took the shot, Rapheal turned to see Leonardo standing in front of him arms outstretched he suddenly collapsed to his knees, his breaths heavy "Leo!" Mikey cried in fear Donatello looked over worried and began to make his way over to Leo before Leonardo stopped him "No I'm fine" He insisted "Let's just get this done with" We all nodded hesitantly before charging at the Krang and taking them down and destroying the blaster. However they were now on their way home and Leo looked like he was struggling to walk, Raph felt awful it was his fault after all 'Why does Leo always have to be so good and protective...why didn't he let me take the blast all I ever do is pick fights with him' Raph wondered, Raphael glanced again at Leo and realised enough was enough "Mikey, Donny go up ahead and make sure there's no other ambushes waiting for us" Raph ordered, Mikey and Donatello cocked their head at first not use to taking orders from their hot-headed brother but after a moment Donny took the hint and dragged Mikey off with him Raph turned to face Leonardo stopping him in his tracks "What's wrong?" Leo asked confused, he really wasn't in the mood for any of Raph's hissy fits "You can stop faking that your okay now I can tell your in pain" Raph told him folding his arms "I'm fine" The leader lied the truth was his tummy ached and his head was throbbing but he had to stay strong for his younger siblings "Stop lying" Raph said annoyed "I'm not" Leo lied again he was seriously not in the mood for arguing but then again he never was especially with Raphael "Look Leo if your not gonna admit it fine, but then you need to answer my question" Raph told his older brother Leonardo sighed "Fine" He muttered, Leo hated being blackmailed "Alright then...why did you take the blast for me? I mean all I ever really do is pick fights with you and insult you and-" Leo cut Raph off "Because your my brother" "Would take the blast for Donny or Mikey?" "Of course I would" "But why?" Raph questioned "It's my job as your eldest brother and leader to protect you" Leonardo answered, he hoped this was the last of the questions he was staring to feel faint and a little nauseas "Do you know what my job is as the second oldest?" Raph asked, if Leo was going to answer which he was Raphael beat him to it "My job is to help you if you can't handle the pressure of leadership" "You think I can't handle it?" "Yeah I think you can and everybody thinks your a great leader and I guess I agree" Raph admitted, Leo smirked "My point being is that if you fall I'll be there to catch you" Raph said "Thanks Raph" Leo said gratefully, Leonardo felt like his knees were about to buckle and the pain in his tummy had worsened "Raph?" Raph turned his head to see the now shaking leader "Help" Leo pleaded as he collapsed forward, Raph caught him and listened as Leo took deep breaths his head resting on Raphael's shoulder "I've got you bro" Raph whispered as he lifted the unconscious Leonardo onto his back "I've got you".
