Hey everyone. This is another story written for Pinata Club. The prompt I used was the Slash Pinata. This is a companion piece to Nerves, One Month's Change, Loving You (Feels Like Breathing), Hogsmeade Love Nest, and Sirius Interrruptus. Warning for mentions of sex, trying different positions during said sexual episode, and discrimination. If this content makes you uncomfortable please turn back now. If you can tolerate this content I hope you enjoy Family (Isn't Always Blood).

Regulus can't believe his luck in finding the love of his life so young. He smiles to himself as he lays in the arms of his fiance of about a month, James Potter, as the sun shines down on the duo. He can't help but think he's the luckiest man on earth. Propped on his arm he watches James sleep and wonders what the other man is dreaming as sees the smile spread across James' handsome face.

He leans over and presses a loving kiss against the sleeping Potter's lips smiling as he feels his fiance return the kiss. Pulling back to look into the hazel eyes he's come to love looking into.

"Good morning, gorgeous," he whispers against James' lips.

"Good morning, yourself sexy," is James' husky reply. "I'm surprised you're up so early after last night."

Regulus feels his face grow hot at the mentions of the places that James Potter took him to last night. He can still feel the aches in his muscles from the new positions that James insisted on.

"I guess...I...I..."

"Reg, calm down. I was just joking." James laughs and kisses him on the tip of his nose. "Did I ever tell you I love the way you blush when we discuss..."

"James," Regulus chides feel the slight pink turn a darker shade, "I..."

"Calm down, Reg. It's just us here. We can be ourselves without anyone judging us."

Regulus knows that James is referring to Regulus' own parents who disowned Regulus after James asked for the younger boy's hand in marriage. He felt himself being pulled against James' firm chest and the safety of James' arms circling him. Nuzzling against James chest the dark thoughts of what his family think of them leave him.

"I know," Regulus whispers, "but it still hurts that they can't accept us. I love you, James. Why can't they love you too?"

"Change is hard for some people," James whispers against Regulus' hair. "They can't stand the fact that you've changed your view and they are still in the dark. Don't dwell on them. You have family. Here with me."

And he agrees with James. James and he have been family since he first got up the courage to go up to the older boy all those years ago. And for Regulus there was never any going back on that fact. Not ever.

I hope you all enjoyed Family (Isn't Always Blood).
