We have been to three different villages now. All with very different demons to slay. It has been pretty easy so far but I have this feeling that the last village we're about to go to is going to be very difficult. I just hope that we'll be able to get things done quickly and go back home because I have been feeling very good these past few weeks. I haven't told Inuyasha because I don't want him to worry and send me back home without him.
Kagome sighs and looks over to Inuyasha who seems to be in deep thought.
"Inuyasha?" Kagome exclaims.
He looks to Kagome,"Hmm? What is it, Kagome?" Inuyasha asks.
"Is everything okay, Inuyasha?" Kagome asks.
"Sure. Why do you ask?" Inuyasha asks confused.
"No reason really. You just seemed like you were worried about something is all." Kagome exclaims.
"Well, I have noticed something a little strange lately..." Inuyasha says a little worried.
"What's on your mind, Inuyasha?" Kagome asks interested.
I really hope that he hasn't noticed my not feeling well. I've been working really hard to hide it.
"Well, I've noticed that you will go off sometimes at night. The other night, I followed you to make sure you wouldn't get hurt and you got really sick...Are you okay, Kagome?" Inuyasha asks genuinely worried.
Great...The one thing I had hoped he wouldn't notice...He noticed...
"I'm fine, Inuyasha! Really! There's no need to worry. Might have just been something I ate is all." Kagome exclaims and chuckles nervously.
Inuyasha pulls Kagome into an embrace and holds her tight.
"Kagome...I love you more than life itself...You can tell me anything." Inuyasha says softly to Kagome. "Please, Kagome...Tell me what's really going on..." he says.
Kagome looks up to Inuyasha worried and holds him tighter.
"Well...I've been doing my own tests and monitoring myself for the past five weeks...Each of the tests I've done...Have come up positive..." Kagome says worried.
"What does that mean?" Inuyasha asks confused.
"It means that I'm pregnant, Inuyasha..." Kagome says weakly and looks away.
I stare at Kagome dumbfounded and I see tears starting to pool in her eyes. I pull her chin to me and kiss her passionately. I pull away and smile big at her.
"Don't cry, Kagome! This is great news! I've never been so happy!" Inuyasha exclaims excitedly.
He laughs and lifts Kagome. He whirls her around a couple of times and hugs her tightly while kissing her.
"I didn't know you would be so happy, Inuyasha." Kagome says while smiling.
"Happy!? I'm ecstatic! You've just made me the happiest man alive, Kagome!" Inuyasha exclaims.
"I couldn't help but overhear you guys. Congratulations!" Miroku says as he hugs Kagome and Inuyasha.
"I know you guys will make great parents!" Miroku says.
"I just can't wait to get home! We've been away from everyone for what feels like forever!" Miroku says.
"Yeah. I'm ready to get back home too! Lets get our last task done and hopefully get home quickly." Inuyasha replies.
We set out to the final village in good spirits and hopeful that everything will go smoothly.
