Summary: Julia wants to thank Clare for helping Eli and accepting him. But, why would she be happy?
Julia's POV
When I first saw Clare and Eli meet I thought they would never be together. I was proved wrong.
I'm truly happy that Eli has gotten over me. I always wanted him to move on with his life if I ever died.
When he pushed Clare away after their kiss I wasn't happy like people would think. I had the same feeling as Clare; Sadness, anger, and most of all disapointment.
I remember one time when Eli and I had the talk about if either one of us had ever died.
Flashback
It was a beautiful day in the park and Eli and I were having a picnic.
"Jules, I love you" He said his intense emerald eyes staring into mine.
"I love you too Eli" I said and he pulled me into a sweet kiss that took my breath away.
"I could never live without you," He said once we seperated.
"I would want you to move on if anything ever happened to me." I said getting serious.
"Why, I could never love anyone as much as you." He stated simpily.
"I'd want you to try," I replied.
"I couldn't," he said starting to get mad.
"If you truly love me you would if I ever died." I said knowing that would make hime give in.
"Fine, but I still think it would be impossible." He said giving in.
"I know, but just try if I do." I said happy.
"Alright, but I love you"
"I love you too," With that he pulled me into a sweet long kiss.
Exactly a week after that day I had died.
Flashback end
Luckily Eli came trough in the end with that promise.
I knew at that time that we weren't meant to be together forever. Clare and Eli were perfect for each other.
Clare had helped Eli so much with all of his problems. Being so accepting. That is why I'm going to thank her.
Clare's POV
I had just got back from the secret party and I'm tired. I was happy it was my dad's week. He won't mind that much that I got in at midnight.
Right when i layed down I fell asleep.
"Clare" I heard from afar.
I was in a beautiful meadow and there was a girl in the distance.
She came up to me.
"Hello," I said noticing her from one of Eli's pictures as Julia.
"I want to say thank you for helping Eli through everything," She said smiling brightly.
"Your welcome. Why would you be happy? I practically took Eli away when I layed down I went to sleep.
"from you." I said confused.
She chuckled and said "You and Eli are meant to be together and I wanted you guys to be together."
"Oh," I said at a lost for words.
"I have to go, I'll visit you again." Like that she disaperred.
I jolted up when my alarm went off. 'What a wierd dream' I thought.
I got up and saw a note that said "Thank you Clare for everything :) - Julia
I guess it was real?
End!
My first one-shot ever. For some reason I'm writing a lot now. I guess I do better around the holidays :)
