What a Nice Day to Spend in the Library
Hermione loved the library, she really did. But today, not so much. It was hot and sticky, they really could stand to open a window or two, she thought.
She looked around the empty library and sighed. I really should get back to work. She thought.
She had decided to spend the day studying rather than hang out by the lake with everyone else. She really regretted that but, she had already told Harry her plans and she was too stubborn to change them.
She turned back to her book but could not focus on the words. Well, so much for finishing all of the weekends homework.
She turned her attention to the clock above the door. It read 12:34.
Okay, at 1:00 I'll go to the common room and read my book. She thought.
She was currently reading the Muggle book To Kill a Mockingbird. A very good story she thought, but not really appealing at the moment.
Suddenly a Redhead appeared in the doorway and looked around. Seeing her he walked over.
Oh god, Ron's hear to argue with me over something stupid. She thought.
"Hey 'Mione!" He said as he pulled out a chair and sat.
"Fine day to spend in the library, huh?" He teased.
Hermione grunted in response.
"Oh, cheerful today aren't we?" He questioned
"Oh yes, very." She flashed back at him.
"You should really come outside, I missed you out there." He stated, ignoring her last comment. Then reddening and adding "and Harry of course."
"Oh but Ron, I've got so much to do!" She claimed.
"It's hot and stuffy in here Hermione, you ned to get out more." He told her sternly. "It's not good for you."
"Well..." she said slowly.
"I'll carry your stuff back with you..." he tempted.
"Okay, fine, I'll come out with you." She decided with a slight frown.
"Put a smile on that pretty face of yours and it's a deal." He said with a smirk.
She put on her cheesiest smile in response and he took her book bag and she lead him out the door to there tower.
THE END
