Title: The Death of Kim Greylek

Rated: PG-13

Notes: I had to write a very short (as snarky-as-possible) death scene for this character. This is the result. If you're a fan of Greylek, probably best not to read. If you weren't a fan, you might like.

Elliot and Olivia were surprised to find yellow crime scene tape as well as Warner when they showed up for their testimony that morning. They made their way over to the ME who was attending to a body at the prosecution table.

Coming around to the front they discovered that the body was none other than their current (though apparently now former) ADA, Kim Greylek.

"What happened?" Olivia asked, her tone notable only for its lack of shock or horror (or concern).

"Not sure yet," Warner replied, "All I know is she's been dead between 36 and 48 hours.

"36 to 48 HOURS!?" Elliot's voice at least carried some shock at that, "But she was conducting the trial just yesterday, less than 24 hours ago."

"I don't know what to tell you," Warner shrugged her shoulders, "Maybe they just couldn't tell the difference between her being alive and her being in rigamortis."

The two detectives considered this and found it plausible enough. Finally Olivia spoke again, "What was the cause of death."

Warner shrugged again, "Does anyone really care? I mean, really?"

The two detectives considered this again and decided that, no, they really didn't.
