Jecture's Light
*
Paragon of ancient times
Jecture's light and glow of mars
When heaven rings with demon's chimes
And fire flows among the stars
With faithless choirs and infidels
With blood flowing like it was wine
With glare from all of Gaea's hells
Madoshi's fires to divine
In Jecture's gardens walked a saint
The saint picked one of Jecture's flowers
The very blossom's soul to taint
With burning heat and lust for powers
The flower pulled from half-sweet home
And thrown into the lot of sand
A noble maiden of old Rome
Thrust under sorcerer's command
And pulled into the very dark
We say that angels fear to tread
Both unrecorded and long dead
With petals scattered to the seas
The fire rose to flower's place
The maiden forced down on both knees
And drowning in her own disgrace
Stripped of even love's bright light
Trapped in a web of her own dreams
A maiden in a cage of night
With no one there to hear her screams
The demon got the angel's life
The dragons vanquished in the dust
The angel reaching out of strife
And finding not a soul to trust
While fires raged and chaos reigned
A demon wondered for his soul
With very life confused and pained
And firmly in the evil's role
When Eden echoed in his ears
White memories of other days
His mind's dark flame echoed her fears
So once again the angel pays
Another virtue in the clouds
Found task to see the demon's heart
His angel sister wrapped in shrouds
Forgotten with a noble art
The virtue and the demon fight
While once again the maid is spurned
Deep darkness, where the only light
Came if the demon's fires burned
A saint mourned his Eponines
And left to seek eternal rest
And so Madoshi struck again
And put their demon to the test
A demon facing angel's fears
Deep in the net of his own fate
With no one there to catch his tears
He thrived upon his mind's own hate
Estuans interius
Ira vehementi
Ira vehementi
A brighter flame means sooner death
And angels have unheard commands
A demon would take its last breath
Its ashes left in angel's hands.
