If you give a Canada maple syrup, he'll want to make pancakes. He'll find you wherever you are in the house, and ask you to let him cook them. Since he asked so nicely you'll not want to turn him down, but you'll need to make a trip to the store.
G etting Canada ready for the store will also be easy. By the time you're done getting ready, he'll be standing by thedoor, all bundled up and ready to go.
P utting Canada in the car will be a handful, though. He'll not want to go in his car seat, and he'll squirm and scream. When you ask what's wrong, he'll just sit there and repeat 'Kumajiwo'.
O nce you realize that he's talking about his pet polar bear, you'll have to go back inside and look for him. Canada will find him behind your couch, licking something off his paw.
A fter you get Kumajiro out from behind the couch, you'll have to check his paws. You'll find maple syrup on them, and Canada will begin to cry. You'll have to promise Canada more maple syrup, before he'll even begin to calm down, and he'll be completely calm after you promise a trip to Tom Horton's.
Before you can do anything, Canada will want you to give his polar bear a bath. Because Canada won't let go of the bear, you'll have to give him a bath as well.
Once you have found clothes for Canada, you'll find that he is already bathing Kumajiro. He'll towel dry his pet and then get ready for the store once more. But this time he'll go willingly.
You'll notice that, at the store, Canada is easily distracted by the things that look sweet to him. By the time you're finished shopping, you'll not only have the pancake ingredients, but lots of sweets, too!
When you remind Canada of the pancakes, he'll say he doesn't want any, and then go off and play with Kumajiro and his brother, Alfred.
Later, Canada will approach you with a bottle of maple syrup, and ask if it's for him. When you say yes...
He'll ask to make pancakes.
