one day gon was fishing and he thought he caught a fish but instead he caught the death note then a shinigami appeared and gon asked for the shinigamis name he said ryuk and gon wrote his name in the death note and stole his eyes and stapled his eyelids together then a another shinigami appeared gon asked for that shinigamis name aswell it said rem.
the next day gon went to try out for the hunter exams, when the ship arrived there were many participants then there was a huge storm then gon wrote gods name in the death note and the storm stopped, and light yagami walked onto the poop deck and said to the people who were still standing passed the unknown exam and gon kills all the passers except the first two people he met and then light asked how they died and gon said suicide then killed light and wrote his own name into the death note to die while having sex with light yagami, a few hours later the boat crashed into a island and leorio and kurapika were stranded, leorio and kurapika passed out and when leorio gained consciousness he found the death note and rem appeared in front of leorio while eating the last of leorios and kurapikas food and kurapika gains consciousness and gets angry at leorio because kurapika thought leorio ate all their food, and starts beating leorio up and leorio runs off and pulls out the death and writes kurapikas name down and the condition of death and says for kurapika to get angry and have to gauge out his own eyeballs and dies, then in the distance leorio sees a ship and calls it over when the shit gets to leorio he asks them to take him to whale island and they said yes.
Later that day leorio got off the ship and killed all the men oon board with the death note and went to the black market in town and got 10 billion dollars and got mugged by hisoka and pulled out the death note but hisoka didn't die within 40 seconds because hisoka was secretly ryuk.
