Hey Buri here :D
Today we had a snow day here in Georgia (doesn't occur often), so I got inspired and wrote a story XD~
Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha or Naruto.
The snow kept on falling, flowing with the wind, and landing on the already white ground. The multiple trees were burdened with the soft, solidified water that stuck to its branches. The flakes were getting bigger and bigger as the day progressed and the sky was as white as the snow itself.
Snow really doesn't happen often in Konoha, actually the last time it occurred was even before the attack of Kyuubi. Most of the younger generations of Konoha civilians don't even know what snow even is. Of course, most shinobi knew what snow was since they have seen it on their missions. A lot of the civilians and the shinobi who didn't have missions were found having snow fights and building snow men. One of the shinobi who did not have a mission was Naruto Uzumaki, and at the moment he was walking through the village, admiring the beautiful snow.
As he walked on he passed one of the training grounds, and he set his eyes on a girl who was actually training in this weather. Well, at least he thought she was. The girl was about his age and had raven colored hair with some blue highlights and sapphire eyes that glowed brightly in contrast to all the colorless snow around her. The girl must have been practicing her nin jutsu with the snow as she was moving the snow around her and making… wait… snow balls? One of the snowballs that she made went flying at him and he ducked barely in time. Once he looked up he saw the girl was laughing at him and decided that it was time to take revenge.
He started using his chakra to make him faster at making snow balls and throwing them at her. He knew most of them wouldn't hit her since she was one of the fastest shinobi in Konoha. She then was running toward him making snow balls without using chakra and throwing them at him with deadly accuracy. Naruto was covered in snow before he decided he had enough and tackled her to the ground.
Once they were on the ground and after the girl stopped struggling they paused to look in each other's eyes before they realized the awkward position they were in. They got off each other and lied on their backs on the snow. "So Kagome… the snow is great huh?"
The girl now known as Kagome started making a snow angel and answered, "Hai, it's wonderful. I wish it snowed more often…"
Naruto then saw what she was doing and started to make one himself. "Yea, that would be great. Especially if I can enjoy the snow with you…" Naruto blushed at his comment that he was going to keep to himself, and moved his face to the side so that Kagome wouldn't notice.
Kagome was blushing too when she realized what he said. When she felt that the blush wasn't as noticeable she looked over to Naruto and saw that he was trying to look away to hide his very noticeable blush. She moved over closer to him and laid her head on his shoulder. "Ditto."
They continued to lay there in a comfortable silence and watching the snow fall upon them. Finally Kagome sighed, "It's kind of getting cold Naruto… you wanna go get some ramen? It's my treat…"
She didn't get to finish what she saying because of the sudden movement of Naruto and of him picking her up bridal style and running as fast as he could towards the ramen shop. Kagome laughed the whole way and was thinking, "It should definitely snow more often…"
How'd you like it? Review if you like~
