I was looming in the old run down museum when II heard someone utter, "Miss the museum is now closing please leave or I will be forced to eject you, thank you." the night guard ordered harshly.

"Yes, I was just about to leave and you're welcome." I responded in the same harsh tone. I didn't bother to be disputatious with him so I lingered to the exit but hadn't left yet. I went to the nub of the museum, I know I was being insubordinate but there was something that just did not feel right. That is when I saw a man a little bit older than me but still in my generation. I prudently went to him and tapped on his shoulder. He spun around and suddenly my throat went waterless and I had to quench it but I could not budge my feet. I finally had the urge to speak.

"Hello my name is Isabella Swan but I prefer Bella, yours is." I greeted politely. I saw him smirk, to me he looked around 17 and I was 18. He also looked very charming and to him I probably looked abnormal.

"I am Edward Anthony Mason Cullen I work here." I was confused I looked down to see that he had on a night guard uniform. I guess I was to busy looking at his face to see him wearing it and I looked down to see he had a legible nametag that said Edward.

"That's cool; I love the museum you are so lucky you get to work here. Sorry for asking, but how old are you?" I felt the heat rise to my face and looked down. I heard him chuckle so he probably saw my blush.

"I'm 17 how about you." So I was right he was 17 I internally high fived myself.

"I'm 17 too, do you work here all night." I questioned.

"No, I work here till nine." He then looked at his watch. "I guess my shift is over." I looked over at his watch and saw it was now 9:01. "Do you want to go for a walk?" I was deciding if I should go or not and while I was deciding I looked at his watch again and noticed that five minutes had gone by. So I spoke up before this turned into a catastrophe.

"Sure but I don't know if I should because I have to get home by ten. But my house is about a fifteen minute walk from here."

"Perfect, I'll walk you home where do you live?"I was simply astounded by his kindness.

"I live on 23 Helton Road." I answered him.

"Really I live on 21 Helton Road. I moved there a week ago." Well that is ironic.

"That's strange how come I haven't seen you there."My voice was in confusion.

"I really wasn't home much with all the stuff inside we couldn't sleep so we stayed in a hotel. But now we are in our house." I was excited but didn't know why.

"So since we're neighbors now want to walk home together." Another annoying blush creped up on my face.

"Sure." We started walking and after what seemed like a lifetime of jokes and laughing we were at out door steps. I looked at the garden to see all the flourished flowers.

"Well I guess I'll see you at school tomorrow." I heard the sadness in my voice.

"Ya, I guess we will." Was it just me or did I hear sadness in his voice too.

"Well bye." I then waved and I saw him wave too. I walked in my home thinking that this is the start of a wonderful friendship…or maybe more.
