Dear Dianna,
I know right now you are hurting, and I know that this may seem shallow of me to ask. Just know I would never ask such a thing if I didn't think you were capable of doing it right now.
I think I can speak on behalf of the glee fandom when I ask for you to please watch over Lea at this time.
She is broken and I don't think there is really anything that will be able to fix her. She lost her love, her best friend, her everything. Only love and continuous support can get her through this.
Sadly as fans we are not able to personally give that to her, but you can.
Please hold her tight, let her cry on your shoulder, let her break things, get angry, scream and yell, let her get it out.
All the while you stand there and support her.
The only reason I am asking this of you is because you have a strong soul. You are her protector.
Remember how you shielded her paparazzi so many times before? Or how you protected from that crazy man on the plane? Your career paths may have caused you to be less close than you once were, but please be there for her now more than ever.
I know Cory's devastating death has taken a toll on all of you. You guys were a family, and know that we mourn for your loss. We as a fandom look up to you guys more than you will ever know. In a way it feels like we also lost a member of our family. We hope and pray that you will all overcome this as a group together.
Mark, Jenna, Kevin, Chris, Darren, Amber, Naya, Heather, Chord, Jane, Matt, Jayma, Dot, Ian, Ryan, Brad, and the rest of the cast and crew I hope you all find peace, and know that we are thinking about you at this time.
You all got our attention with the characters you play, but ultimately it was you all as people that we fell in love with.
Words cannot describe what Cory was. His talent was unlimited. His smile was contagious. Though sometimes we did not like his character, we all came to love him as a person. We understand he had struggles and he was also brave enough to fight his demons. We are heartbroken to know that he will never get to reach his full potential. That we will never get to see his goofy smile, his infamous smirk, or his uncoordinated dance moves we all loved so much.
At least he is now at peace up above looking down on everyone. Hopefully he is up there watching over Lea.
Hopefully you are down here doing the same.
Just know you all have millions of fans wanting to do nothing but hug everyone one of you. We cry for you all, for our little Lea, for our now angel Cory.
Remember you are strong.
