SPOILERS FOR REBUILD OF EVANGELION below...

It had been some time now since he had to do some work in the Time Rift... This was unusual, though, to have nearly 19 disruptions pop out of nowhere just after he slayed the Time Reaper. Aeon wasn't scared in a particular way, but this phenomena amused him. I mean, 19 interferences! That was way above the average of 2 per year.

Coming to a stop near one of the bubbles that represented a disruption, Aeon gazed into the bubble. A girl had been run over by an attack, magical in origin, and her mind held conflict in whether to stay with the mentor that crashed her down, or to leave and have no more of this. Aeon looked with interest at the latin below the bubble "interfere in this affair" written on it. Aeon opted to just relay a message and respond to it as he looked as the other anomalies. The time-traveller and god-like entity was privy to a short round of questions she fired, only answering with a brief message that filled her mind and shut down the doubts clouding her. "She'll surely stay now" Aeon though, knowing full well the diversion that could have happened had he not interfered would've actually hurt a lot of people. Aeon would not pay that price.

Just a few moments after that, a new situation brought Aeon to a strange distortion near the end of the rift. A man, or, more like, boy, had risked his own skin, more literally than one would think, to save a girl from certain death. Aeon looked at the "possible" outcome. Getting dunked into a tesseract, being taken from his prison and his love and put in detention, being blamed for the destruction of the planet he lived on; even though they called it Earth and it resembled Earth, it wasn't really "Earth" in the usual sense... Aeon then looked at how he tried to mend his mistake, but this backfired horribly and he ended a shell of his former self. Moved by this story, he decided helping this boy was fit for his interest. He read the words below saying "response needed now". He then found the problem. One of the spears in the record was meant to be replaced. Aeon swapped them with a wave of his hands and then, most, if not all anomalies dissapeared. "Interesting" the man dressed in pale argent thought, going on and fixing the last one, the death of a man, with a similar action to his previous one and noticing the other two anomalies dissapearing.

Aeon smiled, replying to the dying man's "last words"

"Destroy worlds... and resurrect them anew indeed", Aeon whispered as he vanished from the rift.
