The Inevitable

Disclaimer: Nope, these guys don't belong to me. 'Course, if I could get my hands on some dragonballs, I'd change that. The only profit I get out of this is the fun of playing with the Z-boys.
Goku's knees shook as he prepared to meet his fate. Gingerly, he settled himself into position and closed his eyes, awaiting the inevitable.
Sudden pain shot through his mouth, followed quickly by a disturbing numbness. He balled his fists, wishing he knew of a way to fight back, but this situation was totally out of his control.
Buzzing noise echoed in his head like a jackhammer. He squeezed his eyes shut tighter, and clenched his fists harder, wanting desperately to clap his hands over his ears to shut out the horrible sounds, but he knew that moving would only make it worse.
The faintest smell of burning friction drifted across his nostrils, and Goku prayed it would soon be over. Anything was better than this. His first fight with Vegeta, followed by battling Frieza and Buu flashed through his brain. He would repeat any of them hundreds of times rather than undergo this torture.
But of course it was those fights which brought him back here again and again.
"All done!" a cheerful voice announced.
Goku slowly opened his eyes. He'd had them closed so tightly that spots danced in front of his vision for a few seconds before reforming into the smiling face of a man dressed in white, with gloves and a mask over his mouth. Goku slowly ran his tongue around his teeth. Yep, they were all there and felt normal. He breathed a heavy sigh of relief.
"Thanks, doc."
The dentist frowned slightly. "I don't know how many times I've told you, Goku, that teeth clenching is terrible for you. If you'd stop, you'd only have to come in for routine cleanings."
Goku nodded as he slowly climbed out of the chair. "Yeah, I know. I just can't seem to help myself."
Unsteadily, he moved toward the door. Opening, it he stepped out into the packed waiting room.
"Vegeta, you're up next."
