O-o

Zeus frowned, looking at the list of fanfictions with his new Mac. He had just installed all of Microsoft Office, and had lots of fun on garage band. But there were no fanfictions with him starring.

Oh sure, he was mentioned here and there, but never of any importance. What did these writes think they were doing? Had they not read the Odyssey?

Probably not… he thought. Today's youth were so undereducated.

As child of morning, rosy fingered Dawn appeared ((The Odyssey; Homer)) he read through the last Percy Jackson fanfiction.

There were two hundred involving random kids that become half bloods.

Are the gods really that slutty? He wondered, frowning. Do we have that many kids? Oh well. That was no concern of his. And most of the rest were about Percy. None starring him, however.

Harrumph! He thought, frowning slightly. Then he realized the cure to his problems.

Beta Reader.

He summoned the muse from the museary and she bowed low.

"Greetings, Aegis-bearing Zeus, son of Kronos." She said smoothly, straightening. "And what, my lord, did you call me for on this fine day?"

"I want." He said, then paused to adjust the cuffs on his pinstripe suit, "I want more fanfictions involving me. Did you not notice that they all feature random half bloods or Percy and his minions?"

"Well, yes. I must adjust to fit the demand."

"Wasn't that what you told Athena and Zoë Nightshade?" He demanded. The muse wrinkled her brow.

"Why, yes, it might have been." A smile tugged at his lips.

"Well, please see to it that I, lord of the gods, gets more attention!"

Thus they did converse. Meanwhile, The grey-eyed daughter of the aegis bearing Zeus was marching towards the palace.

"I want a nice one-shot of all my good points and why they should write about me!" the almighty Zeus was telling the muse. ((Hey- that rhymed!))

"Yes, milord." Beta Reader bowed.

"And then I want several longer stories. You can create a new wave!"

"Yes, milord."

"So go find an author that will fill this request."

"Yes, milord."

"You are excused." Beta Reader bowed, and as she then departed Athena went past her. She distinctly heard the name "Percy Jackson" come from inside.

Huh. Beta muttered as she left the palace. "I did what she wanted me to about Percy. It got a few great reviews, too." ((This is Tales from Beta Reader: Athena- check it out!))

Beta Reader headed towards the museary, then paused. She needed to find an author- fast!

Storm-Brain had had a competition, and the winner had not yet chosen. Perfect!

She ran to de hunter, and planted the idea in her mind. Then she told Storm-Brain the rest.

Zeus would be happy, she hoped.
