My name is Andre Harris and I'm in love with a girl I can never have. Her name is Jade and she's everything I ever think about. She's my best friend girlfriend, Beck. For years I had a crush on her but never have the courage to tell her. Could you blame me? I mean she's Jade the tough, mean, outspoken chick who at times is over protective of her boyfriend. The girl who wouldn't hesitate to pound you if you said anything insulting about her or Beck. I'll admit I'm a little frightened of her…okay make that a lot! She isn't exactly the kind of girl you that you could spill your feelings to. In fact I never really talked to Jade. She and I had nothing in common therefore we didn't associate. The only time I do hang out with her was when we were at Hollywood Arts.
But this year was going to be different. This year I will make an effort to know her. This year we will become more than friends. This year I will make my dream come true and be her boyfriend. I don't even care if she's with Beck. Sure he was a good guy and all but I just feel he does not love her like he should. Sometimes after school I see him walking with this blonde preppy girl. Their always laughing and flashing flirty smiles towards each other. I don't have the heart to tell Jade because I know it will crush her. That makes me want to work harder towards my goal. I will succeed even if it kills me!
