A Tale of the Magical Sort
"Grandma Kasumi, tell us a story! Please, please!" the little children whined hopping up and down, "PLEEEAASSSEEE, Grandma Kasumi!"
"Oh hush up! I'll tell you in my own good time!" snapped Kasumi, who had gotten quite feisty in her later years, and quite arthritic.
"Now gather 'round my rocker and I'll tell you a story...... It's about one of my sister, Akane's fiancees, way way back, when she was 16."
"Before Uncle Kuno?" one child asked.
"Yeh. Now hush up and let me speak." Kasumi cleared her throat and began...
"Once upon a time, there lived a guy named Ranma....
(you know the rest, I told you about him: he fell into a spring, blah blah blah, etc. etc.)
Anyway, he had an EVIL stepperson! This stepperson hated Ranma! So they drove Ranma out of the magical kingdom of Nerima, over the hills, and through the woods.In the woods, it suddenly started to rain, and we all know what happens when it rains! Ranma transformed into a girl and was magically changed to wearing a beautiful...
(cough)
...green dress with plaid sleeves and a brown collar. Then it stopped raining and Ranma stumbled upon a little cute cottage. He dashed inside, eager to find some hot water,but alas! there t'wasn't a soul there! He looked around and saw that the house was a pigsty. With dirty dishes and clogged toilets it was a horrible sight. Ranma couldn't look at the house without gagging so it had to be cleaned. He ran outside and amazingly began to converse with a bird.
"CHIRP CHIRP, CHIRPITYCHIRP"
(Grandma. people can't talk to birds!)
(... Hush up child!)
Translation: "Get your friends and clean that house or you and all your pals will be teriyaki!"
The bird quickly nodded and with a quick chirp flew into the house with terrified birds close behind. All the birds got together and cleaned the house while Ranma-chan magically created a chair of leaves and sat on it! She watched the birds clean up the house. They were breathless when they were done.
(Like Granpa Tofu after coming down the stairs?)

Ranma-chan was hungry so she made them teriyaki anyway.
(SHE MADE THEM TERIYAKI!)

(Now HUSH UP!)
She ran into the little house and what did she see?
A sink. Yep. Just a sink and some beds. 7 to be exact. She saw seven beds all lined up. She was tired so she tried them all out. After she tried each bed, she declared number five suitable. So she went to sleep. Oh and before I forget, she found hot water and became a guy.
(How did she find the water?)
(Ask your mom.)
Anyway, Ranma's a guy now...
(Granma Kasumi? Granma Kasumi, wake up!)
Kasumi's head slumped to the side. A thin trail of drool ran across her face. The children sighed.
"Not again! We ask her to tell us this story every time! She always only gets this far!"
