This is just a big drabble of stuff thrown together. Meh.

"Hey, Fenton!"

Danny let out a loud sigh. Of course Dash would find him this early on. He always did. Ever since Danny revealed himself as the Ghost Boy who saved all of Amity Park, no one dared bully him. The people who always looked up to him now idolized him and the people who bullied him tried to make peace with him. And as for Dash, well, he was actually trying to make up to Danny for all of the bruises and punches he'd given the boy. They were also in college, so there was that.

"Dash, we've been over this!" Danny sighed.

"I just want to know if it's true!"

"No, Dash! You really don't want to know."

Dash growled and pulled Danny close to his body.

"Meet me behind the football stadium after school. I know you're worried that I'll do something to you, but I promise you I won't."

Danny nodded slowly. Dash let his already gentle grip go and walked to his class.

~!~

The end of the day came up quickly and Danny walked behind the football stadium. He waited a couple of minutes until Dash showed up.

"I was really hoping you wouldn't show," Danny grumbled.

"Tough luck," Dash shrugged. "Besides, I just want to get to know you a bit more is all. I realize that I was a jerk back in high school."

"A jerk?! Dash, you were a complete jackass!"

"I know I know! And I'm sorry."

Danny blinked in surprise. He then smiled softly before holding his hand out.

"Hi, I'm Daniel Fenton, also known as Danny Phantom, but you can call me Danny," Danny said, his baby blues sparkling.

"Hi, Danny. I'm Dashel Baxter, but everyone calls me Dash," Dash said while shaking the hand offered. He nearly jumped back in shock. "Jeez, your hands are freezing!"

"Half-ghost, remember?"

"I mean, yeah. But your body isn't that cold!"

"No. Just my hands. Some say I have a cold heart too."

"Who told you that?"

"Plasmius."

Dash shook his head.

"No, you aren't. You only do what you have to do. You do it for Amity Park. For the world. For your friends. For her," Dash trailed off.

Danny looked away.

"No, Sam and I aren't together anymore. We thought it'd be better if we were just best friends," Danny said sadly.

"But you two were in love with each other!"

"Only because she was around. When she was gone, the feelings disappeared."

"Then, who did you love? Paulina?"

"Hell no! Too bitchy."

"Yeah, you've got that right. What's her name?"

"It's not a she."

"No?"

Danny hummed.

"So, it's a he?" Dash questioned.

"Ugh, yes! Yes, it's a he, okay?!"

"Relax, Danny, I won't tell. Does Sam know?"

"She knew whenever I wasn't looking at her."

"Ah."

The two lapsed in silence.

"So, who is he?" Dash teased.

"Dash, no," Danny moaned.

For the time being, it felt like they were the best of friends for all the years they knew each other. No one questioned it or anything. Just one day, Dash and Danny were friends. It was odd.

It was even more so when they said they had stepped their friendship up a couple of steps.

You can interpret the ending as you wish. Eh, what can I say? It's Monday.

...

I really should get back to Bendy's Secrets, huh...
