Hey Guys! Okay, so I don't own anything so far except Kara and Dylan. Also I don't think Dance College of New York exists but if it does I don't own it.

"What's the big news Rock?" CeCe asked as her best friend stooped under the window.

"I got a scholarship!" Rocky cried waving a thick manilla envelope around in the air.

Her long chocolate hair tumbled down her caramel skinned shoulders as she burst into the kitchen. CeCe, who had been cutting up vegetables for a salad, whirled around, her fiery locks soaring the air. The two girls, now seventeen, were quite beautiful. They had also matured and became much more responsible. Rocky's straight A's and perfect attendance had her skipping eleventh grade. She was now out of school and CeCe was excelling in twelfth with high B's and low A's.

"Scholarship for what?" CeCe inquired placing the knife in the sink. She picked up a dish towel and dried her hands.

"DCNY!" Rocky squealed giddily.

"Dance College of New York?" CeCe gasped.

"Yes!" Rocky's smile split her face in half, her pearly white teeth glinting in the light.

"Congrats, that's great!" CeCe pulled her best friend into a hug.

"Thanks." Rocky's smile faded. Her brow knitted in deep thought.

"What's wrong?" CeCe felt a sickness bubble in her gut.

"Oh nothing." Rocky plastered on a smile. "ButI have to go. I'm meeting Ty and my parents at Crusty's. I haven't gotten to tell them yet." CeCe watched her friend leave. She pulled a new knife from the drawer and began humming to the beat of her favorite dance show which she even starred on.

"Boom sha ka sha ka..." 'Crash!' The knife clattered to the floor. She had just realized her friend would be living miles away in New York. Miles away from her!
