Harry Potter glanced at the blond man next to him, the last person he had expected to live next door to him in his new Muggle neighborhood.

"Malfoy?"

Malfoy looked at Harry and took a sip of his drink. "Yeah, Harry?"

Harry glanced back around his back deck, which currently held most of the neighborhood, an upscale development. The welcoming party Malfoy had planned for him was a bit too much.

"Why is everyone looking at you like that?"

Malfoy glanced around, eyes lingering on a leggy blonde who Harry recognized as the twenty or so college aged daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robinson across the street. He looked back at Harry.

"Like what?"

"Everyone's giving you that look."

"What look?"
"That 'you've given me a good shag but I've cheated on my partner so I'm going to avoid you in a completely obvious way' look."

"Oh. Yeah I guess they are."

"Any particular reasons why?"

Malfoy laughed quietly to himself for a moment. He then looked at Harry. "Well-" he sipped his drink nonchalantly- "I've been around the block a few times."

Sadly, this was inspired by something my theology teacher said. Sigh... I need to get my mind out of the gutter.

Anyway... It's pre-slash if you squint hard enough but it doesn't have to be that way. I like it either way.
