This story was originally a one!shot, but I've now decided to make it a story of multiple one!shots. This change was made on September 30th, 2013.

Summary: Everyone has a tale to tell, including those of Thorin's company. Stories of first kisses, quests, memories, the pains of life and the wisdom that comes with it. Read on as each member of the company learns not only more about each other, but about themselves.

There are some general guidelines that will follow every chapter:
Each chapter will be featuring a personal tale from a member of the company about themselves or about others.
Most stories told will be about a specific event from a characters past that I've created; their first kiss, first kill, etc. Directly canon-related stories won't happen often, with the first chapter being the exception.
All members will have their own chapter at least once. Gandalf is also included. Most likely more then once, though.
No chapter has to be read to understand another. It is advised that you do for the whole experience.
This story will contain no slash. But rather close bonding/friendship between certain members. Enough so that it could be perceived as slash or pre-slash if you really wanted it to, but no outright relationships overall. [For you Trekkies/Trekkers out there, think of Kirk and Spock's relationship. Though it is never announced that they are romantically involved, their close relationship can be perceived as so.]
This story will follow certain aspects of canon. Meaning that if a character dies in canon they are to be believed to die at some point in this story, but depending on who it is their death may or may not be mentioned.
This story will not follow the order of canon. Meaning that one tale may be told at Rivendell and the next told while leaving the Shire. This means that each story is a random location, pretty much.
The canon followed is book-canon.
Spoilers are inevitable. Upon reading this story know that certain events will be talked about and stories told in certain locations. If you end up reading a spoiler I claim no blame, read at your own risk.
Most chapters will be in different formats. Some chapters may be 3rd person, and some 1st person.
The teller of the tale won't always be the point of view of that chapter. It may be viewed from the eyes of someone else.

Suggestions/Requests: Both are happily welcomed! Note that if you give me a request it may take me a while to write it and publish it. I may or may not write it your request, don't take offense though. Most likely my muse just couldn't come up with anything to get it going.
