Fifteen Reasons Why...
Sir Gwaine of Camelot (Formerly of Caerleon, Orkney, and Albion in general) is Awesome
One: He's a Knight of the Round Table. (That wins points right there.)
Two: The apples. (Does this need an explanation?)
Three: He was nice to Merlin from the very beginning, and is a great friend all around.
Four: He calls Arthur "Princess".
Five: He has an interesting and angsty backstory that was never really explored in the show, leaving it wide open for the fan authors!
Six: He is called "Strength". You don't get that moniker by being a wimp!
Seven: He has floppy hair. Like in a boy band. Except he's not in a boy band. He's a knight of Camelot. Which is so much cooler!
Eight: After Arthur and Lancelot, he's the best knight of Camelot.
Nine: He was abducted by an alien. In a fantasy show. He singlehandedly turned the genre of the show to sci-fi.
Ten: He is secretly a redhead. (Redheads are often underestimated. We shall rule the world someday, just wait and see!)
Eleven: He flirted with Gwen, but he accepted "No" as an answer and was sweet about it. (Seriously, that means a lot.)
Twelve: He has a great sense of humor. (Who runs around referring to Wyverns as "pheasant" anyway?)
Thirteen: Poor thing doesn't have much luck romantically.
Fourteen: He was banished from Camelot on pain of death, but still came back to risk his life to save them. Twice. (Though admittedly the first time was more to save Arthur than Camelot in general.)
Fifteen: He's an impulsive idiot. But we love him anyway!
