Note: Feel free to skip this and head into the actual story that
begins in Chapter Two. This was originally a poem that was to tie into
the story and has since...not. It's really only left here for those
who like poetry and to keep place until the story if finished.
Magician's
Waltz
A
step, a turn, gliding on air.
A
smile, a bow, kiss for a maiden so fair.
Tears
no longer showing,
fears
no longer expressed.
The
playful game of hide and seek
avoiding
death's caress.
One
and two, three and four.
Silent
footsteps sliding across the floor.
Cold
and smooth,
The
whisper of satin,
Sliding
and caressing across spun flaxen.
A
dip, a spin, an elegant laugh.
The
creamy touch of another's calf.
Stares
and whispers,
an
itchy sensation.
The
wondering gaze
and
the betrayed's tears.
Closed,
back
forward
and turn.
Left,
back,
forward
and spin.
Empty
and cold, amusement trickling in.
A
quick of the lips, run, jump and fly.
