A/N: This one was inspired by the other morning when I
woke up to find I was still wearing my jewelry from the day before.
It just felt so Sophie, I had to write it.
He Fell in Love
There was an instant attraction between them, certainly. She was beautiful, he was handsome; they were young, daring and already led particularly exciting lives. But her beauty and allure wasn't what he fell in love with.
He fell in love with the way she wore her jewelry to bed.
He fell in love with her surprisingly good singing voice.
He fell in love with her expertly tended garden, no matter where she was living.
He fell in love with the simple gold necklace that never left her throat.
He fell in love with the fact that she refused to dye her hair for a character.
He fell in love with her atrocious acting.
He fell in love with the way she ordered bourbon, straight.
He fell in love with her taste for a good cappuccino.
He fell in love with the fact that she shared his knowledge of art the way Maggie did, but also his love for it.
There were so many things he had fallen in love with about her. But the only truly important thing was:
he fell in love with her.
