One shot from Erin's point of view.

I stare at Vlad, fear is creeping into my heart. "Vlad.."

Vlad stares at me, his eyes cold and black. "You lied to me!"

"Only because I didn't know how to tell you."

Vlad stares at me, his eyes slowly turning to their green colour. "I thought we said 'no more secrets', Erin?!"

"I know we did, I'm sorry, I really am."

Vlad drops his hand from my shoulder. "Sometimes, Erin, I wonder why you're still here." He says, coldly.

"I'm here because I love you."

"You say that, then you constantly lie to me, something tells me I'm in a one man deal, here."

"I'll go." I say, tears swelling in my eyes.

"Running away is not the answer."

"I'm not running away, I'm saving you." I say, tears spilling down my red cheeks.

"How?! How are you saving me? By Leaving me?!" His voice is strained, like he's trying not to cry.

"Because you're better off without a pathetic Breather like me."

"Erin," He sighs. "You're not pathetic. You're amazing."

"I lie, I slay, I'm everything your kind hate, I have to go." I can't look my Love in the eyes.

"No, you don't."

"I do. It's better this way, please, for your sake, let me go."

"My Dad said to me I have to fight for what I want. I want you to stay."

"We both know you can't have me." I whisper.

"I don't care what my kind want, I love you."

"And I love you too, Vlad, but it never seems to be enough."

"What happened to 'you and me against the world'?" He tried to reason with me.

"I grew up, Vlad. I was young and gullible when I first met you. I fell in love with your charms, your looks, your power..."

"You didn't fall in love with," He begins to cry. "me?" His own tears were falling against mine now.

"No." I lie, desperate.

His face was suddenly angry, confused, and hurt. "Go then, Erin, go away and never come back." His voice is cold, all traces of remorse wiped away like a shield had gone over his face.

"I am sorry, Vlad." I say, simply. I turn around, and exit the room.

"Erin?" He calls back after me.

"What?" I call, hope raising in my voice.

"If you walk out, I never want you to set foot in my house again, is that clear?"

I struggle to contain my tears. "I love you, forever, Vlad." I say, and turn around, leaving my old life behind me.

"I love you too, Erin, always." I hear Vlad's voice, and I can't help myself.

I run up to him, and he spins me around like they do in films.

"Please don't leave me, we can get through this, together."

"You and I both know I can't stay, Vlad." I say, sadness clear in my voice.

"Why?"

"Because The Count wouldn't approve."

"We'll deal with it when it comes. For now, lets just enjoy our time together?"

"But-" He cuts me off as he kisses me firmly on the lips.

I open my mouth, unable to resist him. His tongue finds mine, and they battle. I break away, needing to breath.

"I love you, Erin."

"I love you too, Vlad."

"No more secrets, please?"

"No more. Ever again." I agree, hugging him tightly, never wanting to let go.

"No more secrets, I promise, I'm sorry." I kiss him again.

He moans and spins me around again, unable to control himself. I laugh against his touch.

"What?" He asks, eyeing me suspiciously.

"Nothing," I say, "I just realised how much I love you, that's all."

He spins me back around, and looks me in the eyes.

He clasps my chin, and brings his lips up to mine once again.

"The feeling is mutual, Erin."

We laugh against each others lips.

"Good." I say, holding him tight.

"Forever?" He asks.

"Forever." I agree.

His lips find mine again, and, suddenly, my not so perfect life is perfect.

Just like that.
