Hello! This is my first fanfiction so I hope it's okay. It's basically a short story/drabble decribe Victoire's love for her grandfather. Cassandra is my own character, who I hope you'll be seeing in more stories. She has, in this story, just got married to George and is pregnant with Freddie Weasley. Hope you enjoy! :)
Disclaimer: I don't own anything. Except my computer. And cookies! :D Harry Potter belongs to J.K. Rowling and so do all the characters in this story except Cassandra.
"Grandaddy?" a small voice called up to Arthur Weasley. Looking down, he saw his small blonde-haired granddaughter, Victoire. "Yes, Tori?" he replied, a great beaming smile on his face. Five year old Victoire crawled up onto his lap and looked up at him with big blue eyes. "Can I ask you a question, Grandaddy?" Arthur simply could not refuse his charming granddaughter anything. If she had asked for the moon, he would have said yes. Agreeing, he began to listen intently to the child's request. "How do rubber duckies float, Grandaddy?" she questioned. This was one of Arthur's favourite topic. He had lots of theories to this and was willing to share these with anybody who listened. With great enthusiasm, he began, "Well, Tori,I'm very interested in this particualar topic. I believe that at every rubber duck factory, there must be a wizard! How can anything float without the aid of magic? It is simply impossible!" He had already started now, and had no intentions of stopping as the small girl seemed to absorbing this information quite happily. "I have this same theory with- what are they called? Oh yes, hairyplains. The driver at the front of these flying contraptions must be an undercover wizard! No Muggle object could possibly fly on its own; it would fall to the ground, wouldn't it, Tori?" The blonde girl nodded enthusiastically. She opened her mouth, clearly about to state her own hypotheses about the Muggle flying machines. "Do you think, Grandaddy, that there is a special place in the Min- Ministron that watches the hairyplains in the sky and charms them into flying?" Arthur was thrilled to discover that somebody shared his love of all things Muggle. "Well, Tori, I think that this is entirely possible! Is there any other questions you want to ask?" he said, hoping that she would ask about what Muggles used brooms for. However, just at this moment, George and his pregnant wife, Cassandra, walked through the room and sat in the garden with the others. Seeing this, Victoire took the golden oppurtunity. "Grandaddy?" she asked, her face the picture of inncocence, "Where do babies come from?" To this, Arthur had no wise words. "Ask Daddy, Tori, ask Daddy..."
Hope you liked it! Please review so that I know whether to write more stories or not. Let me know if there is any grammatical mistakes. Thanks! LeighBeaLou x
PS: This is definately a one-shot, because I'm not sure if people like my writing or not.
