Disclaimer: I own nothing.
So, I've sortof been planning this one for a while... but the idea really hit me only a couple of days ago. I'm not really sure where I want this to go yet, but I'll figure it out. In the meantime, review :)

All Hell Breaks Loose
Chapter one: Awakening
--
April 13th, 2005, should have been just another normal Saturday at the Wind Ninja Academy in Blue Bay Harbor. By seven o' clock most teachers were up, and by nine, the students staying at the Academy were as well.
As it was Saturday, students who didn't normally stay at the Academy weren't there, and it didn't take long before those who did and some teachers also left, either to visit family or just take a break.
One teacher was still asleep though; Dustin, after he had woken up and figured it was the weekend, had happily gone back to sleep, content to do so until somebody chained his wrists and dragged him out of bed. And since that was most likely not going to happen, he could sleep for as long as he wanted.
That is, until Shane proceeded to do just that.
Dustin found himself being dragged onto the floor and let out a startled "Dude!" as his bare back hit the cold floor.
He blinked, still rather sleepy, and looked up at Shane's face. The Air Sensei had an amused smile on his face as he helped Dustin into a sitting position on the edge of the bed.
"Way to ruin a perfectly healthy sleep," Dustin grumbled, rubbing at his eyes as he yawned.
"Wouldn't be healthy if Cam found out." Shane replied with a small grin.
"Partypooper." Dustin shot at him.
"Whose party?" Shane asked without missing a beat. Dustin sent him a death glare – or what would have been a death glare had he not been so tired.
"Any... well, good... reason you're so tired?" Shane asked, not able to stop his grin from widening.
"If I said colorful dreams, would you believe me?" Dustin asked, standing and stretching before he scratched his head. Shane burst out laughing.
"What? What's so funny?" Dustin wanted to know.
"You don't get enough sleep because you dream about colours?" Shane managed, trying to muffle his laughter with his hand.
Dustin pouted. Not that he'd ever admit it, but he still pouted.
"They're not ordinary colours!" he protested as he pulled on a thin cotton shirt and pants, before putting on his ninja uniform. "It's like... there's like, persons having those colours, but they're not really human, you know?"
"Rangers?" Shane suggested. Dustin shook his head.
"Don't think so. Maybe."
"Don't think too much about it," Shane told him. "It'll just hurt your brain. Now let's go, before Sensei has your neck."
"But it's the weekend!" Dustin protested as Shane pushed him towards the door.
"A Sensei never has weekends," Shane said wisely. Dustin scowled.
"No wonder Sensei is so grumpy."
By the sea, a cave, lit up by only a dark blue light which seemed to come from nowhere, was empty except for a pedestal in it's middle. On top of it there was a small bowl shaped inclination with three triangular holes. Red, blue and yellow. Around the edges of the pedestal there was something written out in runes.
Hollow steps were heard as a cloaked individual walked towards the pedestal. A pale hand put a triangular blue stone in the blue opening on top of it and poured water over it. The water never ran over the edges.
"Only two more..." the cloaked person said, voice raspy and rather raw. ".... and so phase two will be complete..."
