Warning: Very freaky and some major character death. I have no clue what made me write this XD...
Mentioned: Fabina and one sided Jabian
"Best friends.
Best friends.
We're best friends?
Right Patricia?
We're best friends
Forever.
Right Patricia?
Right?
I don't know.
I don't think so.
You like Nina better.
I always knew you liked Nina better.
I always knew you liked my replacement better
We're not best friends
We're not."
Patricia woke up shaking and sweating. She had heard Joy's voice again. Since the other girl had died 2 months ago Patricia had been hearing her voice quite a bit. Her therapist had warned her this sort of thing may happen in her dreams when she was grieving...but...this wasn't normal. Joy's voice always sounded creepy and distorted. And anyways, this was Anubis house. Something creepy and evil was always happening here...But Patricia just didn't know...Something about it seemed so...strange.
"I thought you loved me Fabian.
I thought you loved me.
Don't you love me Fabes?
Don't you?
No.
I don't think you love me.
You love Nina.
You love my replacement.
Don't you Fabian?
Don't you?
You hate me Fabian...
You're glad I'm dead.
Aren't you?"
Fabian too woke up sweating and wide eyed terror flooding through him. He was glad that it was just a dream and Joy wasn't here. He missed his friend dearly. Just thinking of her accident made Fabian want to start sobbing. He missed the girl so much. But these dreams. They were just so unsettling. Fabian knew they weren't right, but they had just had another wonderful victory, there was no need to darken it. It was probably just the lingering grief causing these dreams anyways, but if they did continue he'd be sure to mention it to someone.
Joy sat in the dark attic staring out the window smiling creepily.
"They like her more"Joy whispered to the darkness "They like her more"
Joy just stared out the window giggling. They all liked Nina better. Everyone. She was the chosen one. Joy never was. She was Patricia's best friend. Joy no longer was. She was Fabian's girlfriend. Joy never got the chance. Now nobody would like Nina better. Not anymore. Joy just felt herself giggling harder looking down at the blood on her hands. In the accident Nina had lived. Nina had lived. The damn chosen one. Not Joy though. Joy had gotten hit hard by the car. Joy had bled out on the ground. Nina had lived.
Not anymore.
Joy stopped giggling and shut her eyes as her ghostly form began to fade completely.
Nobody would like Nina better anymore.
Joy wasn't the bad one anymore.
Joy was chosen.
Joy was special.
Joy was amazing.
Nina, well, Nina was dead.
Not that Joy wasn't.
Joy was just more alive.
Much, much, more alive.
