Welcome everyone. This will be an Antagonist Title story. The Shredder's apprentice is by no means the protagonist and don't expect him to be pulling any punches or to be sympathetic. Also Matt is not the title character and don't expect him to meet the turtles until the seventh chapter. Enjoy and review.
Two Teens
Matt Cassius was sixteen years old. With black hair and eyes, he had a rather square appearance making him look like he was a Jack Kirby character. He was white skinned, Italian from Ontario, Canada, which isn't that far from New York. He wore blue jeans, a red golf shirt, red sneakers, a green jacket and a plaid flat cap.
One of Matt's classmates was a girl named April O'Neil. While true he had a bit of a crush on her, it had more to do with the fact that her dad was missing. Kidnapped from what he had heard. Matt's own father was gone, a victim of a heart attack so that's probably why he was attracted to April. This attraction would probably leave if her dad was ever found and rescued but at the current time, Matt had feelings for April simply because they were two teens without any parents. Matt's dad was dead and his mother was somewhere with another potential stepfather. April's dad was kidnapped and her mother was… dead? Divorced? Doing work overseas? Where was April's mother?
And now things were getting weird life. Ninjas in New York? That was what that news report had said. What was next? Gladiators in Toronto? Apache in Edinburgh? It was probably just a publicity stunt for a movie or something.
As Matt walked down the hall one day one of his classmates, a jock started to taunt him.
"Where do you think you're going you hockey playing lumberjack?" Matt hated stereotypes about Canada. He was from Canada so of course he'd hate the stereotypes! And he wasn't big but thin calling him a lumberjack would be like calling a pencil a tree! It was at this point that Matt walked over to the jock and started to punch him in the face with no mercy. Thankfully, this was after school so he wouldn't be getting into any trouble. When he was done, he wiped his hands on his shirt and walked out of the school.
It was at this point that Matt noticed April. Worried he looked back at the jock he had just pummeled.
"Uh… I can explain, April." April just shook her head and walked away.
"You're a nice guy, Matt… but sometimes you can be scary."
