Sadness was evident throughout her childish facial features even as she stared blankly through the piercing silence permeating within the white house lobby. The truth is on that rainy day the noise level was shy a decibel of window shattering, but aside the fact she wore hearing aids and could identify with every resonating sound she heard nothing at all; only the reality of her situation. The reality of our situation as it would soon come to be once I knew who she was and why she was hunched over in a chair that she didn't quite fill out yet. Little did I know we were going to need another chair.
