Hey,

Details are below

Albus stumbled upon the portrait on his way back to the dormitory between classes. He had a free session, so he'd decided to try taking an alternate route which ended up taking him to a completely different part of the castle. With the way that the curtains hung near the windows, and how dust clung to sill, Albus was sure that no one had been in this area for quite a long while.

"And who are you young man?"

Al jumped, startled at the sudden unfamiliar masculine voice coming from somewhere behind him. He was sure that he'd been alone a few moments ago, but the sound of the voice made him want to bolt. He knew that if he did, and James found out, he'd never be able to live it down.

"Turn around, boy, I'm over here."

Sure enough, when Al turned around he found the source of the strange voice. It was a slightly faded old portrait of a middle aged man with kind eyes and dark hair.

"Don't look so startled, boy," the portrait continued at Al's silence. "It's been a while since I've seen any students around here, yes, but this was my area of the castle."

Al blinked. "Um, I don't mean to be rude, but who are you?"

"You don't recognize me?" Al shook his head and the portrait sighed. "I'm Godric Gryffindor, co-founder of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

Al's eyes widened at the declaration and he couldn't stop his surprised gasp from slipping through. The portrait laughed softly at this. "I'm Albus Potter," he replied. "It's an honor to meet you, sir."

"Pleasure's all mine, Mr Potter," Godric smiled warmly. "And judging by your robes, you're in Rowena's house. Good on you, boy!"
