Her Lieutenant
In the dungeon of Dandrum Fortress:
Olwen has just discovered that the rumors about the child hunts were true and that everything she had been doing up until this time was in the wrong.
"I can't believe what I am seeing. What have I been doing all this time? Is my service to this country all for naught? I thought I was helping people and fighting for what was right, but I am just helping a nation commit horrid deeds. Now I am going to die in this place without ever talking to my brother again. I will never get to tell Fred how I feel."
Sound of a battle going on through the cell walls. The kids start crying.
"Now now kids everything is going to be alright." (I wonder what is going on. Someone can't possibly be trying to rescue me. Could they?)
"Olwen! Olwen! Where are you!"
"Fred!? Is.. is that you? Fred! We're in here hurry!"
Fred uses a key he got from a soldier he killed.
"Olwen are you alright? I thought I would never see you again."
"Oh Fred, thank the heavens you came. Never leave my side again."
"I won't. I will protect you with everything I have. Um….Olwen after the war do you want?"
"Fred you don't have to say anything. I have loved you from the first moment I saw you. Always be my knight."
Fred with a face redder than a tomato replies softly "Yes milady, here is your sword and tome."
Olwen smiles back "Now let's win this battle together and get these kids outta here."
