He Knew It Was Her …

He knew it was her.

The scent of gardenias in the air …
The sound of her delicate footsteps on his hardwood floor …
For three years, he had committed her to his memory.
He'd learned everything about her, except what mattered most.

Warm summer breezes drifted across his bed, caressing his naked body.
Let her see all of me, he thought, feigning sleep.
Her gaze swept over him like a searchlight scouring the night sky.
She devoured his flesh with her eyes.

What does she want … why is she here …
He could feel his body betray him.
Blood rushed to his manhood, enlarging, engorging.
Does she know it's always her in my dreams ...?

She stood in his room, afraid to move, staring at his sleeping form.
He was perfect in every way.
His sinewy arms and legs were draped haphazardly across the bed.
Would he be so bold, if he know I was here ...?

She trailed her fingers along the rich oak footboard as she moved to the side of his bed.
She was mesmerized by him.
It was all she could do not to stroke his sex, to kiss his lips, to taste every inch of his body.
She gingerly sat on the edge of his bed.

He knew it was her.

"Do you like what you see, Cameron"
She gasped. He did not move, nor open his eyes.
"I just came to wake you … Addie's kidneys have shut down."
"Get Chase on the phone."

She listened to House's side of the conversation.
Cameron stood. "We should go ..."
"We have time … it's under control." he said calmly.
"What do you want … why are you here …"

"I told you House, our patient …"
"You could have sent Chase."
"I want to … I want you to …"she hesitated.
"I want you too, Cameron." said House quietly.

Her dress settled in a satiny mound on the floor.
"God, you're beautiful …" House whispered, drawing her naked body into his arms.
She lay facing him, belly to belly, his arousal pressed against her.
Her warmth enveloped him as they joined together for their first time.

"When you asked if I liked what I saw, you called me by name.
How did you know it was me …" she asked.
"I have my ways …" he said, kissing her tenderly on the lips.
And then he smiled.

He knew it was her.
