Bone Apple Teeth

if you know what I mean!

I bounced on the heel of my feet, super stoked for the final seven minutes to go by and summer officially be here. I wasn't the only one excited for the final minutes to tick by but I was the only one standing up and bouncing. The worst part is that we weren't in our normal classes no, we were in the classes we were going to have next year getting our summer homework. I don't want to see homework when summer was so close I could taste it. The sun's rays were shining bright in the cloudless sky. The sweet breeze blew into the stuffy classroom through the open window.

"Ms. Downs!" I squeaked and turned back to the front of the room.

"Umm y-yes Mrs. Greene?" I stuttered, the class giggled.

"Take your seat Ms. Downs school isn't over yet." she instructed, I scrunched my nose.

"But Mrs. Greene it's impossible for me to sit down when we have seven," I glanced at the clock, "six more minutes until summer." I whined.

"Ms. Downs I can easily tell you are going to be an absolute delight to have next year," she sighed, "Class dismissed."

I was the first one out the door I didn't even got to my locker there was no need i already had my bag and my locker has been emptied for a week now. I was standing in front of the large oak doors, my hands on the golden door handles ready to push them open once I got the signal. The bell chimed doors burst open and teenagers ran like a bat out of hell from their prison cells. I pushed the doors open and hopped down the concrete stairs. I stood at the bottom with my arms spread wide I let the summer breeze wash over me. I took a deep breath and spirited to the bike rack. I got on my blue and black bike and pedaled out of that terrible place, I was finally free.

These summer was going to be the best summer of my life I could just feel it.

Oh how wrong I was.
