When Simba and Nala became Beck and Jade

Bade

He missed her. He missed her. He missed how she always used to mock him (which was funny, because that was the point of their breakup). He missed the way she smiled when he told her she looked beautiful. The smile not everyone got to see.

He loved how Jade, the tough girl, cried everytime they watched the Lion King.

When he joked about it, she'd sniff, slap him, and then tell him that she hated Mufasa's death.

He loved the way her voice sounded whenever she sang Can You Feel The Love Tonight. It was her favorite song.

Whenever they were together, he felt like their love would last forever.

It didn't.

She missed him. Yes, she did. Jade West rarely missed anybody. She didn't miss her father when he left her. She didn't miss her Grandma when she passed away. Out of all the people it could have ever missed, her heart chose Beck Oliver. And she truly missed him.

She missed the way he used to say she was beautiful. She missed the way he used to tell stories when they couldn't sleep because of some thunderstorm.

She missed watching the Lion King with him. Sure, she cried, though she'd never admit that to anyone, but he saw her and he joked. So she slapped him. She missed the fun they'd have.

Whenever they were together, she felt like their love would last forever.

It didn't.

His mom makes him go to the mall because he dropped the eggs.

So he gets new eggs. He pays, and walks away, but suddenly, the eggs are on the floor because someone bumped into him.

So he looks down at the ground, where he sees a black-clothed girl, who looks very angry. He helps her up. She opens her mouth (probably to yell at him, he figures), until she suddenly freezes.

She freezes because she heard music. And yes, she heard it correctly: when she turns around, she can clearly see a television that's put there for little kids, playing the Lion King. More specifically, her favorite song.

Can you feel the love tonight

The peace the evening brings

The world for once

In perfect harmony

With all it's living things

He hears it too, because he looks at her and softly says:

"Your favorite song."

She's about to sneer something like 'Thanks, Captain Obvious', but when she sees how he looks at her, she shuts her mouth.

Can you feel the love tonight

You needn't look to far

Stealing through the night's uncertainties

Love is where they are

His big eyes are full of love, and suddenly he reminds her of Simba in the movie. So in love, but unsure if she loves him too.

It is then that she realizes she would be Nala and yes she does.

Because she missed him.

And they both softly begin to sing the last part together.

And if you feel the love tonight

In the way I do

It's enough for this restless wanderer

Just to be with you

And with that, he steps up to her.

"I've missed you."

And before she can protest, he takes her face in his hands and kisses her.

Okay, this just came into my mind and I wrote it out. I know that it's a bit OOC (mainly for Jade), because there's no way in HELL Jade West would cry at the Lion King, but whatever. Can You Feel The Love Tonight is my favorite song from the Lion King, and I thought the best couple to use this for was Bade. Thanks for reading, please review. Until next time!
