So i was going through writing prompts on tumblr and I saw this one. I changed it slightly but i hope you guys enjoy it! It's not the best story but bare with me please. ): Another thing before you guys read this, if you are one of the ones waiting for the Coffee Shop Ex's (ichihitsu) i promise i will have it up soon. I've been very busy with school work and I'm slowly adding on to the next chapter whenever i have time too. I'm sorry for the long wait. Anyways, enjoy!

"Uh, excuse me, captain."
Byakuya, who was working on squad reports, gently set down his brush in the ink. He raised his eyebrow in question at his flustered looking lieutenant,"What is it, Abarai?"
Renji shifted his weight from one leg to the other, obviously uncomfortable. Clearing his throat loudly as if he was trying to gain his confidence back from where ever it went, "I'm sure you are aware that we are to go to the World of The Living on October 31st."
Again Byakuya raised his eyebrow, "I am well aware. Must I remind you, I was the one that requested the mission?"
Renji froze before rubbing the back of his neck, he was such an idiot. Renji shook his head slightly before bowing, "Of course. I apologize, Captain".
"What is this about, Abarai?"
Renji raised from his bow and straightened his stance, "I'm sure you are also aware of the holiday that falls on October 31st, I believe it's called Halloween". Even with this new information, Byakuya remained unimpressed. Renji began to sweat slightly, this wasn't good, the red head took a deep breath before continuing, "captain, I understand we plan on going in gigai, but on Halloween the people in the World of The Living like to dress up as different things and people. I was just wondering what we plan as going as so we blend in". Renji mentally gave himself a pat on the back for not screwing up as he finished.
Byakuya lazily crossed his arms and let them hang across his lower torso as he sat in his chair behind his desk, "I was not aware of the holiday, Halloween. Seeing as you have been to the living world many times before, what would you suggest, Abarai?"
Do or die, Renji thought. Renji looked straight into the eyes of his captain, almost flinching away at the dead stare he was receiving , if everything went as planned he wouldn't be chased out of the division with his captain's bankai following close after him. Do or die, Renji chanted to himself.
"Abarai."
Byakuya's stern voice snapped him back to reality, "Right, sorry," again he cleared his throat. "Well, Captain Kuchiki, I was thinking we could go as a couple."
It was Byakuya's turn to freeze, "A couple?"
Renji nodded slowly, "Yes, a couple. Like how Captain Hitsugaya an d Ichigo are". Renji turned his body slowly to slightly angle the door, there was no way, in the name of all that was good and evil was he going to get cut to pieces by Senbonzakura , if he needed to run, he will.
"I suppose, there's no problem in that". Renji's eyes widened, his captain also seemed shy to even say those words.
"Ah! Captain, you don't have to forc-"
"Abarai, we want to blend in, correct?"
"I mean, yes, bu-"
"Then it's settled. Now leave, I have work to do". Byakuya seemed to instantly go back to work, avoiding the stare of his lieutenant.
Renji finally seemed to get the hint that his captain no longer wanted to talk to him, bowed quickly and quietly left the office. Not only did he get to be his captain's lover for a few hours, (maybe even longer if he played his cards right) but Ichigo now owed him twenty dollars. Life was great.
