Seto sighed, being a Priest was hard work, especially since he had a specific set of rules, stricter than any other sets of rules in the kingdom. The Pharaoh seemed to have it out for Seto, that the brunette was sure of.
Especially when he made having a male partner against the law. That was a law Seto had been breaking since before it had come around.
You see, Seto WAS in a relationship with another male, his servant Jou to be exact. And quite frankly, Seto had no intentions of ending their relationship anytime soon. Nor did he really want anyone in Egypt to find out about said relationship...
"Seto? Are you okay? You've just been lying there for ten minutes sighing?" Turning his head slowly, Seto smiled up at his blond partner, who's hair was messy from just waking up.
"I'm perfectly fine, Jou. But I remembered that I have to see that stupid Pharaoh about something he deems important."
"Heh, I dunno why you hate him so much, he is your cousin right?"
"Yes, he might be my family." Seto shifted into a sitting position, leaning over to kiss Jou quickly. "But that doesn't mean I have to like him, or that he isn't a pain in the neck sometimes."
"Hm. I still think you're a little too mean to him. In private, ya know. Is it all because of that silly law?" Seto stiffened instantly at the mention of the law, causing Jou to frown slightly.
"Seto, what's wrong? I'm sorry, I shouldn't have mentioned it... " The blond hung his head and looked away.
"Don't be stupid. Theres nothing wrong with mentioning it at all! I'm just a little bit... Annoyed about that law. Stupid Atem.. He's such an idiot."
"You're such an idiot." Jou giggled, lightly punching him in the arm. "Now... Where were we before I fell asleep?"
"Oh yes..." Seto lent over to kiss Jou lightly on the nose, before moving down to the blond's lips.
