Author's Notes: Written for the drabble challenge at supernatural100, at Livejournal. This is the slightly extended version. I hope to do this more often. Anyway, hope you enjoy (even though it's so short)!!
To most people, Dean Winchester was a hero. He was always willing to go above and beyond to save people's lives, even if/when it meant putting his own in danger, which was most often the case.
But to Sam, Dean was just his brother. He could see why people put him up on such a high pedestal, why people spoke fondly of him when recalling tales from long ago, but to him, Dean was just a regular guy. He yelled at Sam every morning and burped and had morning breath like guys do.
Sam relished those normal moments with Dean.
Because, after all, shouldn't a hero have "off" days too?
