Darkness Turned into Light
Echo the Nymph
I was dark,
A monster in my own right.
I shied away from the light,
Until an angel showed me the way.
She took me by the hand and led me back,
to reclaim the light I had as a child.
She tamed the monster within into a mighty lion,
a creature who defends his home.
She treated me different right away,
never once wavering in her care.
Then, she bore my son,
and I felt a lost emotion return.
Now I know what love is,
and I will stay with this angel of mine.
She saved me from my darkness and turned it into light.
