THE SCREAMING VIXEN

I Stirred. The Moon was desolate, quiet and eerie to a fault. I was not the only one who had trouble sleeping. Edge, Rydia, Rosa and Kain were all asleep behind him.

But there was one. The stowaway who had only revealed himself when they had fought the Giant of Babil, Resurrected the Lunar Whale, and landed on the moon. His appearance had stunned the life out of all of them. I was the first to speak. "How on Earth...? "

The Newcomer did not speak, merely staring at I through eyes which had seen too much.

"I'm Coming", Is all he said.

And that was that.

He introduced himself as Stiyx, a fearsome mage and fighter, who had shown his prowess in battle on the moon, by obliterating all Dark Mages in one Thunder5. The ground was scorched, and when a Dark Grenade snuck up on him from behind, quick as a flash, his Blade, Peak, now held traces of a Dark Grenades blood, if you can call it that. We decided it was a good idea to let him join our party after that.

We all had different reactions to him. Rosa was as she normally was, being motherly and caring, Kain seemed to find him as a friend, because he was closest to him in personality, Edge was haughty and sarcastic, but Stiyx just shot his words back at him. Rydia summed him up. She still seems to be. I must say, I didn't trust him. I still don't." But I would not like to have him as an enemy. "I thought to myself.

He seemed to be oddly at peace here. I wondered whether it was that he could deal with all enemies easily, or that he was used to this. I withheld judgement for the moment.

CHANGES TO STIYX'S POV

"So, how's it going, Sweetheart? "

"Edge if I was your sweetheart, I would kill you."

"You break my heart sweetheart..."

"Good. A broken heart makes people go insane. Doesn't work on you, though, you're too far gone.

For God's Sake! Can those love obsessed teens keep it down over there! I'm trying to concentrate over here!

I kept walking. I stopped. I frowned. Silence.

"Err... Stiyx..."

"WHAT NOW!!!!"

A shrill scream echoed from the sky. My face drained of all colour.

"No..."

FOUND YOU AT LAST!!!

How had she? OBEY!!! NOW!!!

No... The Scream... Again...

AT LAST!!! FIGHT!!!!

My Brain had no command over its actions. I was truly serious, but I was forbidden.

I raised my hand and began to chant.

HeHe... Bit of a cliff-hanger. Now it was slow going, introductory chapter. Will get better soon! R AND R!!! OR I SET KAIN ON YOU!!!!
