A/N: I think we all were wondering what happened between the moment Belle caught Rumpel and the moment Hook and Emma were in the back of Granny's. Well this is what I think could've happened. Hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own OUAT. I got this idea from Jake and Jossyl on YouTube.
Summary: He's alive, but can Emma forgive Hook for all of the horrible things he did while under Rumpel's influence?

Everyone Has A Little Black
The purple smoke faded and the events that had just occurred ran through my mind. I had thought the whole time Belle was clueless about the dark ones endeavors, but she'd known. She saved me, even when I tried to kill her so long ago.
I heard quick footsteps coming up the stairs and felt a hand on my shoulder. I was still kneeling on the floor; partially because I was astonished by Belle's actions, and partially because I was happy to still be alive. A smooth hand stroked my cheek and my eyes looked at the woman in front of me.
"Killian, are you okay?" She looked into my eyes, searching for a sign that I was stable. I simply nodded, and after a moment, she pulled me into a hug. For a moment I enjoyed it and then it hurt, "Ah!"
Swan immediately stepped back, "What's wrong?"
I looked at the heart I held in my hand; it was still beating and glowing red and black, "It's okay, Love."
It was then that I noticed her mother standing behind her, making that wide grin that she'd made when the Snow Queen's curse failed. She cleared her throat, "I'll let you too talk."
Her footsteps faded and eventually vanished as she made her way out of the clocktower.
"Swan, I didn't want to-" I started to explain.
"I got the message," My eyebrows furrowed. What was she talking about? Then, I realized Gold must have left my message on Emma's talking device. Amongst the chaos, I'd forgotten all about it, "I'm not with you because of your hook. A hook or a hand doesn't matter to me. You don't need to be a better man because I'm okay with the man you are."
"Well, Swan, you don't know how happy I am to hear that."
I pulled her into a loving embrace holding my heart outward. After we pulled apart we looked at my heart. I couldn't help but think she was staring at the black spots. I waited for her to respond and as if she knew what I was thinking, she said, "Everyone has a little black."
"Swan, I want you to know that I-"
"I know, Hook," She smiled a slightly bigger smile than her mother's, "I know."
I couldn't help but smile. At least something good came out of the crocodile's plans.
"Now," she said, "let's put this heart back where it belongs."
She took the heart out of my hand and grabbed my hand with her own. We ran out of the clock tower and down the street to Granny's. We were in the back of the building and she held my heart so gently.
"Just be gen-ah!" She shoved the heart back into my chest in one swift movement.
"Sorry, I just thought if I did it quickly it would be like ripping off a-" My hand pulled her lips to mine and I leaned her up against a wall. I had thought I'd never be able to kiss her again, or feel her touch and now that I was, I realized how much I loved her.
We separated after a moment, "I told you, Swan, I'm a survivor."
She leaned her head back against the wall and grinned, "I love you."
"I love you too, Swan."
We kissed once more.
Swan saw me as a flawed man, but not a villain. I knew this was just another battle, and there would be plenty more to face, but we could face it.
Together.
