A/N: This is a story that popped in to my head while being bored and sick. Anyways this is just a little one-shot fluff but if you want me to continue it just ask me and I'll do my best. So I hope you enjoy it. Oh and I'm also taking any requests for any kind of story just no yaoi/yuri.

It was a cold rainy day on Mobius and everyone was closed up in their houses to keep warm from the freezing rain. Well everyone except Julie-Su she was in a forest sitting on a tree stump crying until her violet eyes were red. "How did I get myself into this mess?" she said to herself. "It's all that stupid bat's fault if she didn't come along then none of this wouldn't have happened."

"Pissed off at the world huh?" Avoice said above her. She looked behind her and saw a male hedgehog with dark grey quills and pale blue streaks with bright green eyes looking down at her from the branch he was sitting on.

"You could say that." Julie-Su said

"So you running away from home because your in trouble or something?" The hedgehog asked climbing down from the tree and standing next to her.

"Well let's just say that I can't stand to be around any echidnas right now." Julie-Su said. The hedgehog studied her for a moment he had seen people in worse condition than she was but then again he had seen better. Julie-Su noticed him looking at her andwas begining to feel uncomfortable.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked

"Someone hurt you real bad huh?" he asked her

"Is it that obvious? she asked

"Not really I had to really look at you to tell." he said. Just then it started to rain harder and it started to thunder and lightning.

"Looks like the storm's really picking up." the hedgehog said

"Yeah well what am I gonna do about it? Julie-Su said not caring.

"Well you can't stay here especially not in this weather." the hedgehog said

"I really don't care what happens to me at this point." she replied

"Well I'm not going to leave you here alone." he said sitting next to her on the stump.

"So what's your name?" the hedgehog asked

"My name's Julie-Su what's yourse?" she said

"My name is Mephiles."

"So Mephiles do you normally walk around the forest when it rains?" she asked

"Sometimes but I walk around here at night most of the time." he said

"Why at night?" Julie-Su asked

"I like the fact that it's quiet around here at night." he said

"Oh so you're one of those guys who enjoys company but also likes to be alone." Julie-Su said

"I guesse you can say that." Mephiles said.

"I figured as much since my boyfriend is like that too." she said "Well ex boyfriend now."

"Left you for another girl?" he asked Julie-Su nodded. "I know the feeling."

"You do?" she asked

"Yeah my ex used me to get her old boyfriend jealous. he said. I kind of knew that she was using me so I wasn't that surprised when she broke up with me and even though she hurt me I wasn't going to let is keep me from staying friends with her and now her boyfriend and I are best friends."

"I just learned something from you." Julie-Su said

"What?" Mephiles asked

"Instead of being angry and feeling sorry for myself I'm going to move on with my life and support my ex and his girlfriend." she said. "And who knows maybe I'll have a new gal pal too."

"Looks like the rain stopped." Mephiles said

"Well I need to go back to Angel Island to patch things up." Julie-Su said as she gave Mephiles a hug. "Thanks for helping me."

"No problem just come back and visit me soon." he said

"I will." she sai kissing him on the cheek before leaving.
