"What is Love?"

Description: a little poem out of writers block… in the end, it clashed perfectly with the manga! Discusses Tamaki's weird questions when he was a kid, particularly one…

I remembered the child

That asked their maid, "What's love?"

"What's love?" chuckled she, "Well

It's the greatest thing of

All. It's brought about by

Something, that's for sure!"

"The greatest thing of all…"

The child repeated, "If

Your duster disappears,

So will love."

"So will love…?"

The maid said, starry

Eyed, with none to reply,

And the child went ahead.

The child went ahead to

The gardener and asked,

"What is love?"

"What is love?"

Said he, "Darling boy, it

Is a fragrance above

All others. The best rose!"

"The best rose…" said the child,

"If the best rose whither,

So will love…"

"So will love…?"

The gardener pondered

And without anymore

Ado, the child went on…

The child went on, met asked

The talent-full painter,

"What is love?"

"What is love?"

Replied the painter, "Why,

It resides in the most

Beautiful of beauties!"

"Beautiful of beauties,"

Replied the child, "If the

Most beautiful maiden

Dies, so will love."

"So will

Love…?" the painter dazed off

And the child moved forward.

The child moved forward and

Met, asked the scholar,

"What is love?"

"What is love?"

Mimicked the scholar,

"It's the greatest wisdom

Imparted on humans."

"Greatest wisdom," the child

Mimicked, "If the greatest

wisdom disappears, then

So will love…"

"So will love…?"

The scholar mimicked,

Dazed. The child went away…

The child went away and

Went to his mother, asks

"What is love?"

"What is love?"

His mother pondered,

Sat on the sofa,

Thought it over more,

Then smiled…

"You smiled, mother, why?

"I asked the maid,

She cared only about work.

I asked the gardener,

He cared only 'bout flowers.

I asked the painter,

He cared only for beauty.

I asked the scholar,

He cared only for wisdom."

The child's eyes saddened,

"None gave any clearance."

The child worriedly said.

His mother chuckled.

"Dear, the answer is you!"

She chuckled more

The door creaked

Opened

In walked a man

With the warmest smile

And open arms.

The child jumped

Into his arms

Forgetting

His

Question

For his

Father came home…
