My recent Dear Mom and Dad fic has inspired me to write more oneshots. Hope you like this one. I love this pairing.
I don't own Total Drama.
Why did it have to be her? I mean, at least she didn't consider herself out of his league, and at least she didn't have a boyfriend, but why did it have to be her? She talked to animals and claimed to be able to read minds. She even made Izzy seem sane, which was a pretty difficult feat to accomplish.
Okay, maybe she wasn't that weird, but still, she was so not his type.
Wait, when did he get a type? Did hot blonde surfer girls with boyfriends count as a type? Bridgette was the only girl he'd really found himself truly attracted to before. And she'd shot him down in five syllables flat.
Or maybe that was the problem.
She was blonde, just like beautiful Bridgette. Maybe his brain was just hard-wired to be attracted to blonde women. He made a mental note to steer clear of Lindsay, just in case. No, this was not his brain's hard-wiring – this was completely illogical and completely unlike his brain. The hard-wiring was all in his biology. Otherwise, he wouldn't be still awake wondering why it was her.
It had to be biology. You didn't get to choose to be tall or short, buff or scrawny, dark or pale. And he certainly hadn't chosen this.
He sighed and rolled onto his side, irritated by his thoughts and hoping that a change of position would help him fall asleep. It didn't. After a moment, he rolled back onto his back, staring up at the ceiling. Overcome with frustration, he whispered a question to himself. "Why Dawn?"
NAWN FOR THE WIN!
