Brooke and Sam sat on the couch, a bowl of popcorn between them and bring
it on playing on dvd.
"Oh she is so in love with Torrance" Sam commented idly
"What?" Brooke asked spitting out the half-chewed popcorn her mouth
"Eww Brooke, do you mind!" Sam exclaimed at the projectile snack "But really, there's almost as much subtext as Buffy and Faith"
"Sam, really, Buffy and Faith hated each other and as for missy, well she's a cheerleader for one thing"
"So?" Sam asked
"Well cheerleaders are the sort of people who, well generally don't swing that way"
Sam giggled slightly "You're quite nieve aren't you? Besides Missy's a gymnast, cheerleading is a last resort, really look at the way she looks at Torrance, you can't deny it Brookie, she looooves her"
Brooke glared at Sam "Got any more of my favourite movies to ruin for me?" She asked as she huffed and reached for the popcorn
"Hmmmmm, depends, what are your favourite movies?" Sam replied teasingly
Brooke glared at Sam
~Flashback~
Nicole laughed "Really B, that's crazy"
"It's true," Brooke said quietly
"Come on Brookie, you're a cheerleader, cheerleaders aren't gay"
And that was the end of it, Brooke decided Nicole was right, after all it wasn't exactly hard to ignore these feelings since she really wanted to.
"Brooke?" Sam asked a little worried "I'm sorry"
"What?" Brooke asked coming back to reality
"I'm sorry if I upset you, I didn't mean to, I mean, I was just talking and I guess I talk to much – "
"It's ok," Brooke said before smiling at Sam
"Sure?" Sam asked cautiously
"Definitely, so seriously, wanna share any other characters with feeling for other people of the same sex?"
Same laughed "Well … now that you mention it I'm sure Xander had a thing for Angel"
Brooke smiled but couldn't help thinking
'I'm a cheerleader' like a mantra of normality in her head.
