4 in the morning

C: (tossing and turning)

K: You comfortable yet?

C: Not really.

K: (smiles and puts his arm around her) Is that better?

C: (blushes) Much Better.

Carmen and Kayden have been dating for a year and even though he's older than her they are still in love like any other couple. Or are they? Later that morning Kayden gets up to make breakfast and by making breakfast Kayden wakes Carmen up.

C: (goes downstairs) Mm. You cooked?!

K: Awe man. I was trying to surprise you.

C: You didn't have to do that.

K: (goes over to her and kisses her passionately) Yeah I did.

C: (smiles) Well, do you need help.

K: (smiles seductively while looking at her body) Yeah, but not with that. (moves over to her and starts kissing her)

C: (moans to his touch) Mm. We shouldn't.

K: (whines) Whyyy?

C: (giggles) 'Cus we have your mom's barbecue and she lives 15 minuets away

K: Fine. Go get dressed. (smacks her ass) I'll be up there in a minute.

C: (rolls her eyes) Hurry up.

While Kayden was cleaning up the kitchen, Carmen was upstairs getting dressed and she's wearing this cute light pinkish sleeveless dress with nude sandals. When Kayden got upstairs he looked at her in awe. She was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.

K: Wow, you look...

C: (smiles) Thank you.

As they get to his mother's house, they greet everyone and meet up to there friends. Kyla (Carmen's best friend) and Toney (Kayden's best friend). The four of them are in the kitchen and talking until this girl, Jocelyn, also Kayden's ex.

J: Oh my gosh. Kayden it's been too long

K: (smiles) Yeah it has.

While the two of them caught up, Carmen wondered who the girl was and how she knew Kayden. A couple weeks later Kayden and Jocelyn have been hanging out a lot together.

8 In the morning

Carmen went to IHop waiting for Kayden.

Waiter: It looks like the person you're waiting on hasn't showed up yet. Would you like the check?

C: Yes. Thank you.

Carmen heads home

K: Hey babygirl (tries to kiss her)

C: Hey (walks upstairs)

K: What's wrong?

C: Nothing I'm just tired.

K: Oh ok then.

C: Where were you today?

K: Awe man. We had our breakfast date this morning. I'm sorry baby I forgot. I was with Jocelyn again

C: Ofc you were. (under her breath) You're always with her.

K: That's not true.

C: Yes it is. Ever since she got here you've been all over her. What is it with you two?

Kayden knows he's going to regret what he's about to tell her but she needs to know.

K: Carmen, she's...she's my ex. She and I dated for four years.

C: Why'd you guys break up?

K: She was moving...she couldn't do long distance relationships.

C: So what am I here just to fill the void.

K: What!?! No baby you're not. I love you.

C: Do you? 'Cus from here it seems like it doesn't (goes up to their room and moves her stuff to the guest bedroom in the den)
