Summary: Bulma and Vegeta take just seconds to notice something about each other…more so Bulma.
Drabble written for Maddie-san's Blue & Black community.
Vegeta took just a second to strip out of the tattered armor he wore, caring not that a woman stood before him.
For just a second, Bulma saw his naked form as he swiftly moved to the shower. And for a second, she studied what seemed to be a perfect body, although marked with many scars of various shapes and sizes. For a second, she saw what made him a man…what made him saiyan.
It took just a second for her to throw his reeking garments into the wash…and a second to supply him with fresh ones. And just for a second, Vegeta thought to himself that her gesture was commendable.
"Hey you! I left you some fresh clothes!" Bulma shouted, snapping him from his thoughts. She waited just a second for his reply, watching the blur of his image through the shower door, but a second seemed like forever. "Hellooo?! You alive in there?!"
"I heard you!" Vegeta snapped irately. "You can leave now!"
"Why yes, master!" She angrily retorted in realization; she had forgotten his royal status for just a second. "Your wish is my command!" For just a second, she glanced back at shower door before leaving.
