I Love You
I want you to hold me tight to your chest, and kiss me like you've never kissed me before. I want you to whisper in my ear and tell me you love me, that you'll wait for my return. Len x Kaito one-shot. 200 words
I stare at him across the table. He's reading the newspaper. I don't want to go, and I know that I'll miss him.
He glances up, his blue eyes meeting mine. "What is it?" he asks.
I shake my head. "Nothing." But in my head, I am thinking hard. I want you to hold me tight to your chest, and kiss me like you've never kissed me before. I want you to whisper in my ear and tell me you love me, that you'll wait for my return. And I want you to promise this, and uphold your promise, because I won't be gone that long. I want you to do all of this, but I'll never be able to tell you, because you'll laugh at me.
"Are you sure?" he asks.
"I'm sure," I reply, blushing and looking down. But he stands up, and is by my side. He leans down and whispers in my ear.
"I will wait for you, Len," he whispers. Then he pulls me tight to his chest, and kisses me hard. Pulling away, he says, "Because I love you."
I look at him and smile. "I love you too, Kaito."
Our lips touch again.
