As Teddy ran down the stairs he heard an owl squeak which might mean…
'Teddy your Hogwarts letter is here' said Harry
'Yes! Finally, my 11th birthday was 4 months ago.'
When he came into the kitchen he saw his Godfather Harry with his wife Ginny who was helping his gran with lunch.
'Hey Harry' said Teddy whilst running to Harry for a hug.
'Hey Man, wow you're getting real big aren't you?
'Yeah can I open my letter now?
'Of course you can' said Ginny
He was so excited that his fingers were trembling. He thought about something. He wondered if his Parents felt this way when they got their Hogwarts Letters.
'Gran'
'Yes dear.'
'Did my mum feel nervous when she got her Hogwarts Letter?'
'Oh Yes I think she did' said Andromeda without turning around
'What's wrong gran?' Asked teddy. 'Did I say something bad?'
'Of Course not darling, I just feel a bit sad because your Parents and Grandfather aren't here to see you'
'Oh well I'm sure they are looking down at me anyway, isn't that right?' Said teddy
'Yes of course teddy, now let's have a look at your letter' Said Harry
'Yeah'
'Now it says that you can either bring a Cat, Owl or Toad' Said Ginny 'what one would you like?'
'An owl.' Said Teddy
'Well after Lunch me and Ginny thought that we could take you to Diagon Alley and we will get you your Owl and we will even go to Olivanders and get your wand.' Said Harry
'Oh Harry you don't have to do that.' Andromeda said.
'No we insist.' Said Harry
Because, he thought, it's his partly fault that his parents aren't here to do it with Teddy themselves.
