Now, I saw a pic of AusHun, thought it was cute, wondered why they broke up, saw another pic but it was angsty, AAAAAANNDD this came to mind. So, yeah...

I stood in front of my grand piano. I ran my hand over the ivory keys and sighed. I remembered the times I used to play for her. I remembered her, her long, silky, brown hair, her determined green eyes, her kind nature, and her tough nature. I remembered our childhood together and how she beat up all the guys. I remember watching her grow into a woman, a beautiful lady. I remember falling in love.
I remember our unification, for our country, for us. I remember the years we spent together, a happy couple. I remember watching her as she tended the house, humming a soft tune as she worked. I remember watching her from my upstairs window as she practiced her swordplay in the garden, even though she knew it wasn't ladylike. I remember feeling like I wasn't good enough to be her husband, felt like I couldn't do anything for her. I remember our fight the night before we divorced. I remember yelling at her. I remember her crying, something she rarely did. I remember watching her run out declaring that the unification was off. I remember seeing her the next day at the official announcement of our divorce and the end of our unification. I remember her asking me if she could still stay and work. I remember watching her grow closer to him, an albino man. I remember watching her smile with him. I remember feeling remorse as I watched her fall in love, with another man. But, I will always remember the kindness and warmth she showed me.
I won't forget Hungary, I never will.
